We were there Sat night with a group from DMTC and we absolutely loved the show. Great company piece with some fabulous talent being showcased too. Loved the direction. Happy memories from when we did it and you all made us all wish we could do it all over again!

Last nights opening performance exceeded my expectations. I’ve never seen the film or the musical so didn’t know exactly what was about to happen. The opening number, culminating with the entire ensemble filling the stage and presenting the audience with a wall of sound, and the narrative to life in their Settlement was impressive and set the standard for the rest of the show.

I’ve also got tickets for the final performance on Saturday, why, because it’s worth a second visit.

I thought the shows at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House were scheduled dates by a professional touring company!

I was absolutely bowled over by the show last night. Fabulous cast, hard to believe they are “amateurs”! Well done to all involved. I’ll be looking out for future productions for sure.
